Hydrocyanic acid gas is the only practical remedy tor the destruction of this pest and is being used more extensively than ever before bv narseryineu and fruit urowers. The i>erfection of the apparatus for fumigating young orchard trees is outlined in this work. The methods can be easily applied in orchards and nurseries for jiiany danger- ous pestsatvery small cost.
