We take pleasure in calling attention to this beautiful plant, which has been universally ad- mired and is acknowledged to be one of the very best herbaceous plants of recent introduction. The habit of the plant is free and graceful; it produces long, slen- der, much-branched stems, leafy to the base and all drooping to- ward the ends, apparently from the weight of the flowers and buds, although the flowers face so that none of their beauty is lost. It is marvellously free flowering, of large size, measur- ing from 2 to 2i inches in diame- ter, in color a rich golden yellow, which is rendered still more effec- tive by the numerous yellow stamens and crimson anthers, and blooms continuously the entire season. It is perfectly hardy, forming a bush about 3 feet high. Strong young plants, $ per doz.; $ per 100.
