London, UK. 7 December 2016. Preview of Mathematics: The Winton Gallery, at the Science Museum. Inspired by the Handley Page aircraft that is suspended at its centre, the gallery, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, explores how mathematics has shaped the world over the last 400 years. The new gallery is Dame Zaha Hadid’s only permanent public exhibition space anywhere in the world and is also the first UK project for Zaha Hadid Architects since Dame Zaha’s sudden death in March 2016. The gallery opens to the public on 8 December 2016. Credit: Stephen Chung / Alamy Live News
