Now turn the edging down, fold in theraw edge at the top, and hem down as a facing should be no wider than necessary tomake a neat joining. TO JOIN EMBROIDERY IN A TUCK, makeseveral tucks in the plain material abovethe embroidery if it is wide enough. Thenmeasure carefully the amount for the space be-tween the tucks, the under part of the tucks, andthe seam. Cut away the superfluous materialand join the edging to the garment.
