While most icebergs fall from tidewater glaciers, this one rose up from the bottom of a lake. The Brady Ice Field has several lobes that push ice deep into freshwater lakes. Here, a massive section of blue ice broke free from the bottom and rose up like a turquoise castle. It was so inviting that we had to go up and touch this blue gem.
