Air Force Capt. Carol Champion, 535th Airlift Squadron C-17 Globemaster III pilot, flies alongside Air Force Lt. Gen. David Nahom, commander of Alaskan NORAD Region, Alaskan Command and 11th Air Force, around the Hawaiian Islands as part of a 15th Wing immersion tour Oct. 24, 2022. Nahom was taken on a two-hour familiarization flight where the aircrew provided an overview of the 535th AS’s mission and demonstrated the capabilities of the cargo aircraft.
