PORT HUENEME, Calif. (June 29, 2021) Seabees, of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 18, lift a patient to be carried to the medical tent during a simulated medical drill during Command Post Exercise (CPX). CPX is a training evolution conducted by Seabee battalions to assess their mission readiness exercise to prepare battalions for future operations. NMCB 18 Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service by providing task-tailored, adaptable and combat-ready engineering and construction forces that deploy to support Navy objectives globally.
