A pair of bone-inlaid officer's wheellock puffers, Saxony, circa 1590, Octagonal then round, slightly swamped and smooth barrels in 14 mm calibre. Struck at the breeches with Nuremberg mark, a standing lion with arrow (Stöckel no. 5497) between "H" and "R" (Stöckel no. 3065). Slightly chiselled wheel locks with closed wheel covers, spring-loaded safety levers and pan lids. The engraved fruitwood stocks profusely decorated with bone inlays, the butts and pommel profusely with spirally wound strips and dots of bone. Wooden ramrods with bone tips.
