A pair of flintlock pistols, Thaddäus Poltz, Karlsbad, circa 1770. Two-stage barrels, octagonal breech section then round after a baluster with smooth bores in mm calibre with brass front sights, and remnants of floral decoration on the breeches. The reconverted flintlocks have bevelled edges, and the lockplates are signed, "Thaddäus Poltz a Carlsbad" Walnut stocks (crack on one forearm), with fish tail butts and horn nosecaps.
