Fritted porcelain was first attempted here about 1696 by the Chi-canneau family, and the manufacture continued until about the year1773. The paste is yellowish, with a greenish tinge, or of a deepivory tint and fine and regular grain. The glaze is clear and brilliantand seldom blistered. Sometimes dry patches are noticeable onthe flat parts, and the glaze often shows a tendency to run in the bottoms of cups, saucers and plates it often presents the appear-ance of Noi. 93-108, 04-61. 2.
