Female Garden spider (Eriophora transmarinas formerly Araneus transmarinas) Australia, on her web.

Female Garden spider (Eriophora transmarinas formerly Araneus transmarinas) photographed on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. These spiders have two humps at the outer margins of the abdomen. They can change colour to suit their surroundings, as this one living under the eve of a cream-coloured house has done. Female Garden spiders weave wheel-webs at night, then dismantle them in the morning. By day they hide nearby, often (as here) with head and legs shielded by the abdomen.
