BRITISH FORCES NETWORK : HAMBURG - Many of the programmes put over the air are electrical transcriptions of broadcasts made by the American and Canadian networks and are rebroadcasts from Hamburg. Many of these recordings are wanted urgently and are flown to an airport near Hamburg where a member of the Boardcasting Unit is waiting. Also all records on quotat from the War Office Welfare Dept, are flown straight to Hamburg. In this case, i/c Programmes is collecting a couple of cases of recordings from a Dakota, which has just arrived. , British Army of the Rhine
