Treatment.—In fresh cases with colpitis alone : Vag-inal irrigations with a 5 % solution of protargol (five timesdaily for two weeks, then twice daily with potassium per-manganate) ; keep the parts clean, especially the vulva(cervicitis is usually present, however).
