Trim the canopyround the top with a little frill of lace ormuslin, and put the same, as a valance,round the bed portion. You can also add. Fig. at each side of the canopy, and, if you want a footboard, that also can be fixed across the bottom with big stitches or paper clips before the valance frill is sewed on. You can make quite large beds in this way, and if you have not a very pretty box you can trim it up with pieces of wall-paper pasted inside the canopy.
