The permit authorises the holder to buy, possess, transport, use and consume bottled liquor while touring any part of India where prohibition is in force, provided that the rules of the State/Union Territory allow the use of this permit and that his/her continued stay is any single State/Union Territory is not more than 30 days at a time.
