USS SOMERSET, At sea (April 13, 2017) Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit square up before boxing during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) training session aboard USS Somerset (LPD 25), April 13. During MCMAP, Marines learn essential combat skills such as how to employ weapons of opportunity, proper detainee handling procedures, and varying counter strike techniques through rehearsal.
