Lily of the valley is very scarce and poor and is bringing a better price than superior stock ever realized here. Violets are good with plenty of them to meet the require- ments. Lilies are very scarce and the few available bring good prices. Paper Whites and freesias are the only items much in excess of the demand, but the heavy crop of the former is being de- pleted, and improved conditions for this flower are in sight.
