Mr. Harris was com-paratively speaking a young man. He was born at Green-wich m i860. He served his apprenticeship with Penn cv Sons from 1876 to 1881, and remained with. paper read before the members—and who was at that timea partner in the firm of Rait & Gardiner. Mr. Gibb was analderman of the borough of Greenwich, and his capacity forbusiness was highly esteemed in the Council chamber.
