HARBOR, Wash. (Apr. 10, 2019) — Chief Aircrewman (Operator) Joshua Holberton, assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 47, greets his family in hangar six at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island shortly after returning from deployment. The "Golden Swordsmen" of VP-47 recently completed a six-month deployment conducting maritime patrol and reconnaissance and theater outreach operations within the 7th Fleet (C7F) area of operations in support of Commander, Task Force 72, C7F, and Pacific Command objectives throughout the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
