Deep-sea Lizardfish or Bathysaurus
The deep-sea lizard fish (Bathysaurus) was observed on the south side of Mytilus Seamount, part of the newly created Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument. This fish sits on the bottom and grabs prey from the water column.
